SAC’s Policy and Advocacy Officer, Shlomo Bolts, will speak on the panel to discuss the current situation in Syria and US foreign policy in the region. Shlomo will focus specifically on events on the ground in Syria and the continued potential for a strong U.S. partnership with the Free Syrian Army. Also speaking during the event is Michael M. Gunter, THO advisory board member, and Col. Brian Cook, director of Theater Strategy.
“Discussions like these are critical to engaging policymakers and injecting the Syrian perspective into the U.S. policy debate,” said Shlomo. “I look forward to participating and hope that my remarks will help sway policymakers to support democracy in Syria."
